Australian openers came with all guns blazing and were ruthless against India's best bowlers. David Warner and Marsh took them to the cleaners and scored 78 runs in just 8 overs. Warner scored 56 off just 34 balls and got out against Prasidh Krishna.
Australia kept the pressure on Indian bowlers and kept hitting boundaries regularly. Mitchell Marsh and Steve Smith looked sublime in the middle and built a 137-run partnership in no time. Australia was on 214/1 in 27th over and Then Kuldeep Yadav got Marsh on 96.
Little Come Back from India
That was a crucial breakthrough for India as they thrashed all around the park. After that, Bumrah got Smith and Maxwell in quick succession. Suddenly Australia was 281/5 in 39 overs. India bowlers bowled beautifully in death overs and restricted Australia to 352/7. Chase from India
Shubman Gill was not available and India chose Washington Sundar for the opening partner of Rohit Sharma. an That was an ideal start from India as Rohit Sharma looked in some serious touch and played some breathtaking strokes. His partner struggled throughout the innings and, eventually, the partnership was broken on the 10.5th bowl while India was on 78. After that Rohit and Virat also looked good in the middle and added 70 runs for the 2nd wicket. India was on 144/1 after 20 overs.
A batting collapse
After that Maxwell broke the partnership and Indian batting collapsed badly. Every Australian bowler got the wicket but Maxwell was the chief destroyer. He got 4 wickets Including Sundar, Rohit, Virat and Iyer. So he broke the the back of the Indian batting lineup. India got all out on 286 in the last over. Rohit Sharma scored 81 and Virat Kohli scored 56. Rohit Sharma completed the 550 sixes in international cricket.

Not too bad, is it! It has been a lot of hard work. The South Africa tour was a bit of a setback, but sped things up as well, got back home and got an injection. I don't have any travel issues, unlike the others. I look fresh. It's nice to chip in, if Mitch Marsh was there on the field, we would have chopped and changed [on the bowling]. Since he was not there, had to bowl more. That will be the role of the allrounders in this World Cup. We are all trying to be as flexible as possible. We have a super-flexible list and it's good to get some momentum before the World Cup.
