Pakistan Super League has just finished in the best possible way. The 2 best teams were up against each other and gave their best in an important final but as we say there is one team to lose and one to win. Defending Champions Lahore Qalandars defended the title successfully and became the 1at team In the history of PSL to do so. Multan Sultans lost the final by the bearest of the margins. They fell short by just a single run. That was heartbreaking for the fans of Multan Sultans because Multan played some splendid cricket throughout the tournament but couldn't finish the job.

Shaheen Afridi the Leader
Lahore Qalandars were right at bottom of the table from 2016 to 2020 they tried everything and signed every great available Star but no one could fulfill the expectations. Then they went to Shaheen Afridi for the job of captaincy and he didn't disappoint them at all. They built the most fearful bowling attack which leads them to victory twice. As we all know there is a saying in cricket that batters can win you the matches but bowlers can win you the tournaments and Lahore did the same.
Shaheen Afridi was one of the main pillars this year for Qalandars. He was coming from the injury but he gave his 100% for the team not only with the ball but with the bat and in the field also. He scored some useful runs with the bat but his innings in the final were the turning point of the match. Lahore was struggling at one place to put a competitive total but the captain himself joined the party and put on a great show with the bat and helped his side to score 200.

Shaheen Afridi didn't start well with the ball and he was on the receiving end in the 1st 2 overs with the ball. But in the 2nd spell in death overs, he turned the table and got 4 wickets in 2 overs and broke the backbone of Multan Sultan's batting lineup. He is the most successful Captain in the PSL from the last 2 years and Pakistan can look out for him as a leader in the future.
